I am software architect and developer. On daily basis I work on designing and developing big e-commerce systems, Customer Relationship Management System, ERP or datacenter software.

Wojciech Sznapka

My first steps in webapps development I made in 2001. Since April 2010 I work in XSolve, Software House from Gliwice, Poland. Earlier I was working in Vertis.pl, 3a.pl, Egasoft and did some freelance.

I hold a Master of Science degree made on Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. My specialisation was Internet and Multimedia Systems, master thesis subject: “Non-profit organisation management systems written in Djanog, Adobe Flex and MongoDB”.

I code in PHP and Symfony2 framework, with tools like Doctrine ORM or jQuery. Besides I know lot of modern web frameworks and languages, like a Python and Django, Ruby On Rails or more enterprise ones: C# .NET or Java Spring and J2EE.

Most frequently used databases are MySQL and PostgreSQL, but I also use from time to time IBM DB2, MSSQL Server and MongoDB.

Since 25th November 2011 I hold Zend Certified Enginer title for PHP5.3 profile on PHP Yellow Pages

Besides mentioned above I’m big fan of Open Source and Linux operating systems. In free time I play ice hockey, play water sports (like swimming, sailing or windsurfing). Also I like good, heavy music and to read a good thriller.
